Junior Recreational / Beginner Class
Age 8 - 11 (School year 6)
Our Junior Recreational Judo class is the perfect introduction for junior school children who are interested in doing judo but may feel a little nervous, or haven’t had much experience with sports. This friendly, once-a-week class allows children to learn at their own pace in a fun and supportive environment while developing confidence, coordination, and beginner judo skills.
Once a year, we run our special Borough Judo Program as part of local sports development. These classes provide a fun and engaging introduction to judo, giving children the chance to learn key skills, build confidence, and experience the sport in a supportive environment.
The program culminates in an exciting borough-wide event, where participants can showcase what they’ve learned and celebrate their progress. It’s a fantastic opportunity for children to try judo, meet new friends, and be part of something special!
📢 Sign-ups open once a year! When registration goes live, we’ll share the link so you can secure your spot.
